Opportunity
The previous landing page lacked a clear entry point for new users. With multiple calls to action, no strong hierarchy, and limited context for first-time visitors, users were unsure where to start — especially those unfamiliar with coaching platforms.
The page didn’t reflect the value of the product or establish the trust needed for justice-impacted individuals to feel supported.
Audit + Strategy
A content and flow audit uncovered friction points in the user experience. While the product offering was strong, the homepage buried its most valuable features.
Key opportunities were identified to surface value earlier in the journey, including coaching access, job prep resources, and the AI resume builder.
User Flows
Several user journeys were explored—one emphasizing coaching sign-up, another centered on resume building, and a hybrid option that introduced platform value before asking for action.
The final approach welcomed new users with a clear introduction and offered two distinct paths forward: begin with the resume builder or explore additional resources through sign-up.
Wireframes
The updated structure created space to build trust, highlight resources, and surface the two most common user paths.
A lot of new context was brought to the top, resources were better organized and conveyed, and featured testimonials from coaches and users were included. The layout is optimized for scanning, with strong CTAs and a clear sense of how the platform works.
UI Design + Visual Direction
The visual system was refined using Talent Nova’s existing brand elements. Their logo, color palette, and primary font were retained but applied more intentionally to create clarity, hierarchy, and energy.
Typography was used to guide attention, with Editor’s Note functioning as a highlight style for headers, callouts, and key messaging. Strategic use of brand colors helped differentiate sections and draw attention to calls to action. A generous use of white space brought focus to the content and created a calm, open feel throughout the layout. The logo was also repurposed as a graphic element to bring consistency and reinforce the brand.
